We are living in the age when what we see is only a minute fraction of what actually exists. We know and see in parts and we make decisions based on the available facts (prevailing evidence) per time. Sometimes we win or succeed; but sometimes, we lose and miss out "bigly" - in the words of the present President of United States of America (President Donald Trump).

Many of us get married based on the available facts, and many of us daily make investment decisions based on the available facts. In reality, many of us do what we do daily, not necessarily because we love to do them or we really want to do them, but as the facts rules. We are now a people ruled and guided by facts. Once the facts say yes, we chorus yes; once the facts say no, we also chorus no. We are almost living daily at the mercy of facts. While many people have succeeded living like this; quite a good number of people are victims of facts - being manipulated by the few people in power and authority on facts. For those who have power over the available facts, ultimately have power over their will and choice daily.

Should the facts say that an idea from God that landed on your mind a few days ago cannot fly; you will doubt God's idea and hold on to the facts. Therefore, the devil uses facts to manipulate you, limit you and keep you stagnant. Wouldn't you rather breakout of this bond of facts over your life?

Let me share a short story in the Bible with you. Sometime ago in Israel, Jesus was going to heal a woman's daughter who had been sick; but due to the delay on their journey, the young girl died, see what happened next:

"While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.”
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.
But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, arise.” Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat. And her parents were astonished, but He charged them to tell no one what had happened"
Luke 8:49-56

The facts they say speaks for themselves. According to the available facts, the little girl was dead; however, Jesus knew the truth - that the little girl was not dead, but sleeping. Because He had faith in the truth, He said things contrary to the facts. But t what did He get back from the people as feedback? A ridicule! His faith was ridiculed by the people who had been subject to the rule of facts over their lives for generations.

You see, it is what you believe that you speak about; if you believe in the facts, you will speak about facts daily and facts will determine your choices and decisions. However, if you believe in the truth, you will speak the truth daily, and that truth will determine your choices and decisions, and ultimately your future.

The little girl came back to life, not because of the faith in the facts, but in the truth. Jesus said, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free". Facts does nothing other than keeping people in bondage. To be free, you must live your life above facts and figures - and see what God is saying over and doing in your life, marriage, business and ministry (if any). Stay refreshed in your mind as you know more truth daily!
