We all live in life to ask questions and to answer questions. In fact, every problem in this world is a question begging for answer from various people. Each question answered is a problem solved. And we are celebrated in life to the proportion of answers we bring to the tables of life.

The question we are examining here could look familiar to many Christians; however, many Christians are yet to find solid answer to that question. And until we answer that question with sincerity of heart and singleness of will; we may not have much to show for our living - no matter how long we live.

"Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why DO YOU SEEK THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD?
He is not here, but is risen!....."
Luke 24:5-6

I believe the biggest problem many people are faced with across counties, countries, and continents is the problem of their pursuits. We are a people of expectations and desires! We so driven by our expectations that we sacrifice years, efforts, money, grace and even our faith to meet them. The question is, "Do you also seek the living among the dead?"; "Do you seek fulfillment, riches, comfort, children, promotion, growth, marital bliss, employment, good health and connection in wrong, failed, crowded or poor places?"

You see, as good as our expectations and desires are; if not guided well, we could end up being enslaved or endangered in our search. Seeking the right thing in a wrong place is not only wrong, it is dangerous for us. Take marital bliss for instance, should a woman marry a "fine boy" with the hope of enjoyment and fulfillment in marriage. But due to the immaturity, selfishness, sinfulness and lustfulness of the boy; she ends up being beaten, shattered and jilted by the fine boy. What do think happened? Did woman was looking for a right thing in a wrong place - simple? No wonder Apostle Paul admonished brothers and sisters who claim to be in love, not to become unequally YOKED together with an unbeliever. For it is like seeking the living among the dead?

The question of "Do you seek the living among the dead?" could also imply that the past of a man is not necessarily the same with his future. He could be called dead in the past, but could become a living being today or tomorrow. If your own case resembles that of a man or woman who was tagged dead in the past, and you were even dinning with the dead - in any context; I am glad to declare to your friends and foes, "Do you seek the living among the dead?" You many even be tagged dead now (maritally, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally); however, if you allow the Spirit of God to quicken your mortal body now as you are reading this article; you will begin to experience an inner shaking that will remove dead cells or relationships or attitude or anything out of you; making you to live a gain. Your tomorrow does not have to be like your past; God is able to change your story - if you believe Him - the Fountain of living waters! He will bring the deadness in you back to life.

You see, God does not only bring dead situations back to life; He also makes them to have a better or abundant life. Your marriage can be better! Your academic life can be better than before! You can experience a major revival in your finances! In fact, your body that has been experiencing decays in the last few days, months or years can start living again. You will not die, but live - to declare the goodness of God in your city and country! Only believe God, the only One who can bring the dead back to life at no cost or damages to the dead!

I trust that you are not going to cover up your situation, I trust that you will seek the Spirit of the Lord to visit you where you are right there for a touch of his healing and quickening power of grace. Do enjoy God's power for life in Jesus Name, Amen.
